Lauren Van Haaften Schick

PhD candidate in the History of Art at Cornell University researching historical issues in art law and artists’ rights, and specializing in artists’ contracts including current experiments with smart contracts and blockchain. Lauren has founded and directed two independent exhibition and performance venues, Gallery TK in Northampton, MA, and AHN-VHS in Philadelphia, PA, and since 2012 has been involved with the artist residency the Art & Law Program.
